The Performing Arts department at Brookfield Community School is thriving with regular performances and productions throughout the year; music is at the core of these events. Chetham’s is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Development Manager to work across all fundraised income streams, particularly Trusts and Foundations, and support the development team in reaching ambitious fundraising targets. This position will suit candidates whose strength lies within the classical repertoire, but who have considerable experience and interest in broader genres. The ability to support learning and classes in improvisation, folk, jazz or other areas would be welcomed.

Experience working in a similar arts organisation, a track record of securing gifts of over £5,000 and knowledge of database systems is highly desirable. The Development Manager will lead on all T&F activity as well as supporting the Development Director in all aspects of fundraising to include Major Donors, Patrons and Corporates. This varied role involves relationship management for a range of donors, comms, T&F strategy and applications as well as administrative support. The role for resident House staff is 40 hours a week and with three or four day or evening shifts during the week and one or two at the weekend.
